Women's Ministry at St. Paul Church

Women’s Ministries are varied. The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) hosts a variety of activities during the year, such as Mardi Gras and the Taste of Autumn English Teaboth of which raise and disburse money for our outreach partners. Some of our Outreach Partners include Waxahachie CARE, Midlothian Manna House, Common Ground Ministry, First Look, and local schools.  ECW also presents women’s Bible study, women’s retreats, and regular fellowship and plenary brunches for all the women of the church. ECW always welcomes new eyes and ideas for events and ministries that tap the talents of the women St. Paul.

Daughters of the King (DOK) is an order of women who make a vow of prayer, service and personal evangelism. Women study and take their vow to the order when they are ready. DOK oversees the ministry of the Sunday morning pray-ers and they host special events through the year, such as the Stations of the Nativity and Stations of the Resurrection.

Prayer Shawl Ministry: Prayer shawls are blessed by the congregation on Sunday mornings. Over 1000 prayer shawls have been sent to people in times of physical or emotional need as an outward sign that our prayers are for them and with them.
